Our second Shropshire Wildlife Trust event at the marina will be on Friday 30th July 10.30am – 1.00pm. ‘Dancing Dragonflies’ will be hosted by willow artist Cathy Preston and will combine learning about the 26 species of beautiful dragonflies inhabiting the mosses with the opportunity to create your own willow dragonfly to take home. see more
We are teaming up with Shropshire Wildlife Trust to host a series of family events at the marina this summer holidays. Our first event, Tales from the Moss with Jake Evans, will be staged on Friday 23rd July. Jake is a fantastic storyteller and he will be entertaining us with tales from our famous local mosses. Hear local myths and legends and also learn about the amazing animals that call the mosses home. see more
Good news! The sun is shining and our marina café is back open for the Easter holiday. If you’re out and about driving, walking or cycling in our stunning countryside, we will be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10.00am – 4.00pm for takeaway sandwiches, snacks, cakes and sweets; and a selection of hot and cold drinks see more
