Canal cruising heaven from Whixall Marina

Our unique location presents the opportunity to experience some of the finest canal cruises in the country – explore the Shropshire Lake District and one of the most memorable canal boating experiences, navigating the 126-feet high Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Just a half-hour cruise from our marina down the Prees Arm of the Llangollen Canal, you can choose to turn left towards Llangollen or right to join the Shropshire Union Canal. Whichever way you head, you’ll enjoy stunning scenery in endless countryside, pretty villages and a superb choice of canalside pubs.
